You’re right. Love the playfulness at the end. Strong story of God’s grace.
Really enjoyed the video. When Chris was talking about his heart pounding it reminded me of my own baptism 47 years ago. Though I had just turned ten, I knew God was calling me at the invitation by John Allen Chalk at a meeting at Highland. I felt like my heart was going to leave my chest.I just wrote about that moment for the book I am writing. Hope you don’t mind if I interject with a need in my writting. In the first chaper, The Intrapment of sin, I have testimonies about lust (my own), alchoholism and embezzlement. I am looking for two more, gossip and social networking leading to an affair.I am hoping to drive home the point that we are all susceptable to Satan’s lair. These can be annonymous.
If anyone would like to contribute to Kent’s book anonymously, leave an anonymous note here with an (unpublished) email address. I’ll email you Kent’s address.
LOL I can identify with her. I’d just gotten my hair done too. I didn’t think about it until my mom mentioned it, in a wistful but not disapproving way. I was only 14 at the time, so she was still footing my hair stylist bill.
Love this video. We just had Baptism day @ Watermark church in Dallas on May 6th. Almost 200 baptized that day !!!!!!
What a joyfully tender story of God’s constant Grace shed on us. I’ve feeling this isn’t the last we’ll hear of and from Chris!! God bless them and their marriage as they walk closer and closer to their beloved Jesus!! Thanks so much, Mike. These accounts of the journey to the cross of others is so encouraging and uplifting. Yours is such a tender heart for the seekers, dear friend!!!
Ooops and red-faced correction:
“These accounts of the journey to the cross of others ARE so encouraging and uplifting.”
Praise the Lord, May He continue to prompt their hearts and call them onward! What a great God we serve.
