I’ve been taking a blog break as I’ve launched a new ministry (“What Really Matters”), started preached regularly (Golf Course Road in Midland), and taken baby steps with my new role at Pepperdine as Director of Bible Lectures. (Even as I mention the latter, I’m breathing into a paper bag to prevent hyperventilation.)

Just completed one at New Wineskins — long overdue. Will be eager to see what will happen at preachermike.com.
I come for the faith lift, not the facelift. Though not opposed to stretching out a wrinkle or two if you find them.
So does Midland have you forever or what? We have friends there who journeyed each year with me to Africa. Will and Jenny Pippen. As they say in Zambia, Greet them for me.” I think surfing is more in line with Malibu . I would pay money to see you on a board. I know you would be great. Don and I have never gotten to Pepperdine yet but hope to this year . Blessings.
