Here’s my first video promo I shot for the 2013 Pepperdine Bible Lectures.

Ok, minor corrrections. I didn’t shoot it. It’s not mine online blackjack poker. It’s not technically about the Pepperdine Bible Lectures. But check out where this guy ends up. Yes: that’s exactly where he’s heading!

Is it also possible this is the story of a guy who had a chance to move from Abilene to Malibu … and DID SO? :)

His trip is incomplete. He did not stop at Malibu Seafood ….

Nor, I might add, does it show him at John’s Garden or Duke’s—other Pepperdine lectureship staples. But I’m in sympathy with his trip.

Question: would you mind having the lectures quarterly? at least semi-annually?

Mike, as you are planning future lectureship speakers and teachers, let me encourage you to consider having Dr. Nathan Mellor. Nathan is an exceptional Bible teacher, story teller, and speaker, and he has had pulpit, education, and business experience that make his presentations relevant and challenging. IF you do not have his contact information or resume, let me know and I will send them to you. He is currently the President of Character First, a non-profit which trains employees and managers in character with the Fortune 500 and companies and organizations around the globe. Feel free to email me at mike.oneal@oc.edu or call (405) 425-5100.

My heartiest congratulations on your selection to continue the amazing tradition set by my great friend, Jerry Rushford. We look forward to great Pepperdine lectures on into the future.
