Mark Cuban’s post-game remarks – limited, humble, deferential – were a delightful surprise, putting the players and coach at the center of attention. *salute*
Don Carter brought back a flood of memories from the mid-1980′s, and an incredibly classy move by Cuban to have the original franchise owner accept the trophy. It now seems a lifetime away, but in the 80′s with the Cowboys in a really down period, we all became Mavs fans, and my childhood love for Jerry West, a young Magic and the Lakers – ended abruptly.
Joining qb: Kudos to Cuban.
By the way, were the ABC announcers on the Heat payroll?
Cuban’s class was a real shocker…….but he won me over with it!
