Don Carter brought back a flood of memories from the mid-1980′s, and an incredibly classy move by Cuban to have the original franchise owner accept the trophy. It now seems a lifetime away, but in the 80′s with the Cowboys in a really down period, we all became Mavs fans, and my childhood love for Jerry West, a young Magic and the Lakers – ended abruptly.
