On the Road Again, Again
2011 March 2
This weekend Landon and I will be together in a seminar in Nashville.
I have NOT forgotten about the blog; nor have I closed up shop. I think I can start to breathe again next week.
Last week it was wonderful to preach and then hold an extended seminar at Providence Road in Charlotte. I may be the only person who uses the Raleigh-Durham airport to get to Charlotte. Here’s why:

This tells it all. I followed the flow chart and it proves that I’m a Cardinals fan. You’ve got to love the short cut to figuring out if you’re a Yankees fan.

Mike, this is precious! I am so glad that you got to be with them!
Safe travels Mike! You haven’t been gone that long. I bet Larry James would write a guest post for you –
As long as you keep posting pics of your darling granddaughters, you never have to blog another word again.
But really, I would miss those words…..
Mike!! They are so adorable and you have the grandpa goofy smile on your face. It happens to all of us when we’re with our grandkids. Is there anything more heart-filling than to hear their tiny voices calling us by their personally chosen nickname?!?!?!!!
Aside from praying you have more time with them, I also pray God’s travel mercies for you as you bounce around this country!
Love you in Him!!!
I will see Dr. Pujols up close and personal on March 25 here in Florida.
I read the book by Rachel Evans. I felt chapter eight (Jesus, God in Sandals) was worth the price of the book. It is hard for me to believe you have been married 31 years. I remember urging your wife to come to Harding. Your were a great student to have in class. I loved our times together running the streets of Searcy and playing ping pong. It does not seem possible those days were 30 plus years ago, but as I turn 73 this year it must be true. I appreciate the ministry wherever you have gone. You have blessed the lives of many people. It is a thrill to sit at the feet of my students and learn things I did not know. Life did not follow the script either one wrote for ourselves, but God has been able to bring so much good out of bad. Always remember: The early church preached Jesus and they practiced what they preached!
