Well, there are no family resemblances. Anywhere. Seriously. qb

Thank you all. Kathy, how are you? Recovering ok? I actually get to be at Highland next Sunday — my first time in quite a while and my last time until March.

Get those girls some AHi black and gold to root for Uncle Chris! Great picture of a great family!

Great pic Mike – but that’s not Eagle Gym. Looks like Midland to me, maybe Wylie?

Charles – Right. Time to get them decked out in AHS colors. Kent – This is the Hardin-Simmons University gym. We played Cooper (crosstown 5A rival) there the first time; the second time will be at ACU.

LOve the smiley face stickers . Reminds me of the ciquita banana stickers that Justin put all over Chloe when she was a newborn and he was 2. Grandchildren are so much fun

Reese looks positively grown up compared to newborn Ellie! Know you’re having a very Merry Christmas surrounded by this bunch.

Ok, great, thanks Mike. Back in the day, we used to play Cooper at Taylor County Expo center – HSU and ACU sounds better.

Thanks for asking, Mike. Doing GREAT!! I didn’t have any idea how sick I was until after the surgery. Energy you wouldn’t believe, no ankle swelling, no shortness of breath, you name it, I’m better, PTL!!!!! o/ In fact, yesterday I ran all day long doing last minute errands and keeping Dr. appointments with no weariness, no fatigue but this morning my legs are SOOO sore from all the unusual amount of walking. Love it, I do, love it!!!! :)

I hope your last Sunday will be this coming one, 12/26 ’cause if it was last week, I missed it. If it is this Sunday, hopefully and we’ll find each other for a Christmas hug. That would be icing on the recovery cake!! :)

Love you and pray your holidays are absolutely the greatest so far. Aren’t grands just grand?? YAY!! Wait until you dig down to the GREAT grands. They’re tons of fun too, believe me. :)

God’s richest blessings on you and loved ones and on your new venture!

    In Him,

    K

My name is Jarrod Longons, and I am the associate minister at Northside Church of Christ. I serve with Larry Sharp, a guy I think you know from days gone by. I hope you will check out my new blog: http://www.theartofthegoodlife.blogspot.com It is mostly on theology/philo/spirituality (I am a phd student in theology and so it provides me with a nice outlet).
