A lot of secular countries on that list.
Seems to be a real bias in favor of cold weather. I prefer the heat myself.
i’m with michael. newsweek’s research surely didn’t take into account snow, ice, and blue lips. i think i’d take the country of hawaii over any of these places.
YES! I don’t care about the cold! Number 7 baby!
Seems like you all are missing the one shining warm weather jewel in this otherwise icy list. Australia. Beautiful one day and perfect the next. Sydney has to be the best city in the world to live in. All that and koalas and one of the highest standards of living in the world.
I did not read the article, but, sorry I laughed. Really?
Australia is no quite sot expensive as the others and should score well, and Luxembourg is so well, European. But, IMHO, New Zealand is the only one that could really compete with the US. Affordable, beautiful, not overpopulated except with sheep. Great trout fishing and no closed season nor license required for hunting the red stags – just have to bow hunt. But they do have social problems involving the Maoris. Still it is clean and green and the people are nice and it is rather affordable.
