So many fun things you can do when you can hold your breath for 3.5 minutes:
Don’t you think this is fake? There’s not really someone doing this. Is there?
He is a world champion freediver – so he does have a greater lung capacity than your average individual. Jury is still out on it right now – some are saying it is real and others that it is fake. The diving locations is one of the (if not the) deepest Blue Holes known in the world.
Interesting. How does he avoid popping his ear drums? I’ve dove four or five times with pressurization and can’t imagine. He must be the Lance Armstrong of diving.
Mike, will there not be at least some word of condolences on this blog for the passing of the great George Steinbrenner?
lc – Yes, of course it’s time to set aside my Evil Empire rhetoric. I’ve been moved by the statements that have come from people like Darryl Strawberry (who said that Mr. Steinbrenner was like the father he never had). Apparently a very generous soul.
I have a very hard time breathing normally when I watch these free-divers…..
So all I have to do is be able to hold my breath for 3.5 minutes & I can sky dive in slow motion and rock climb w/no gravity? Tempting, but i think I’ll pass……..out that is! Crazy!
