My favorite podcasts that I enjoy catching up on while traveling:

2. Prairie Home Companion
3. Coffee Break Spanish
How about you? Any podcasts you’re addicted to?

About the Lost finale . . . who can translate? Admission: I haven’t watched since Season 2 (until last night), so maybe it isn’t worth trying.

I like the Religion podcasts by NPR.
“Ask Pastor John” with Desiring God ministries.
“Stuff You Should Know”–great little snippets about random stuff (that you really DON’T have to know, but are interesting nonetheless).
I catch Andy Stanley while I’m on the eliptical on occasion (which is only on occasion) and listen to SpanishPod when I try to learn Spanish, an ongoing quest that seems to call to mind a phrase about old dogs… Should I look into Coffee Break Spanish?
Rob Bell.
“To The Best of Our Knowledge”. Almost as good as TAL. TAL still takes the cake. I let them buffer up and listen to them while driving on long trips.
The Moth. Love coffee break but have a tough time understanding their Scottish? Accents
Favorite podcasts (in addition to This American Life):
> Travel with Rick Steves
> BBC History Magazine podcast
> On the Media
My favs:
This American Life
Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me
WNYC’s Radiolab
Also, I sometimes listen to the Dinner Party Download
Econlog is my favorite – sometimes it is about the Federal Reserve (too complicated for my liking), but often they look at the way people think about interesting things like journalism, buying groceries, religion, war, etc. – has me interested in more topics each week.
Also the President’s weekly message – no matter the president, it makes me feel important.
Ditto on Rob Bell. Only religious podcast that I’ve tried and liked enough to stay.
TAL, The Moth, RadioLab, Daily Audio Bible (even though I’m about a month behind…) Stuff you Should Know, Stuff You Missed in History Class, Rob Bell, Planet Money, Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me
TedTALKS!
Rob Bell/Shane Hipps (Mars Hill) and Greg Boyd (Woodland Hills)
In no particular order – Rob Bell/Mars Hill; Rick McKinley – Imago Dei church (Donald Miller’s church); Rick Atchley; Wade Hodges; Greg Boyd now and then (Greg is a little too intense for me).
I guess I shouldn’t comment on Lost either – I watched the first 20 minutes of the pilot, and the final 10 minutes of the last episode.
The first 3 are my “can’t miss” ones, the rest I listen to as time permits:
* the White Horse Inn
* Fighting for the Faith
* Stand to Reason
* Issues, Etc.
* Grace to You (John MacArthur)
* Desiring God (John Piper)
* Truth for Life
What? Nobody except qb listens to Mark Levin? The download available at 2030h Central time is commercial-free!

Hey qb, we listen to him on the radio while making dinner. But if Levin’s show wasn’t on at such a convenient time we’d make sure to download his podcast.
Attaboy, JB. Gotta hang together, or we shall all hang separately.

When I was still driving a truck, my Sunday afternoon ritual would be to download the following on my iPod for the week: Bob Edwards weekend, Prairie Home Companion, Park Street Church(Boston), Mike’s sermon, and ACU lectures/classes that I hadn’t heard.
1) John Piper (Desiring God)
2) Whitehorse Inn
3) Matt Chandler (Village Church)
4) Alistair Begg (Truth for Life)
5) RC Sproul (Renewing Your Mind)
6) Tim Keller
7) Al Mohler (radio)
8a) Mark Driscoll (Mars Hill-Seattle)
