Here are two wonderful renditions of “Meet Me in St. Louis.”
First, Judy Garland:
And, Reese Cope:
oh my good-ness! that was awesome! seconds 23-26 are my fav : )
How precious!
Judy Garland’s got nothin’ on Reese Cope. Her rendition of “Tomorrow” last year on her mom’s blog is still my fave, though.
Annie – Since this is a granddad blog, here’s an update of tomorrow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iMyTIyM4ZA. Look forward to seeing you guys soon.
Way to go, Reese! I’m thinking the American Idol judges would give her a golden ticket to Hollywood if she was just a wee bit older……
Too adorable! I love the Ariel outfit – and the tassels.
That was beautiful. And, it is great to see the Little Mermaid has extended into the next generation of young ladies.
The perfect muusic for a snowbound day. Thanks for shaing. And, yes, I love the tassels too!
I MUCH prefer the second rendition!
Now I’m sorry I’ve been away from here for a few days – what a star performance for her doting grandpa. Love it!!!
PRICELESS!!
Does ACU have its own version of Spring Sing? If so, I see Reese hosting it in about 16 years. What personality that cutie has!!
thx for the smile
Does ACU have it’s own version of Spring Sing? I’m offended Just kidding Heidi…I think ACU has been doing Sing Song since the 50’s. So cute Mike!
Heidi…. c’mon now. “Sing Song” was originated by ACU in about 1955 by Bob Hunter. Come check it out in about 3 weeks and see what you think – or wait 20 years and watch Reese host it.
I have two in Sing Song this year…go Freshman Class and Siggies and so many great memories of participating. Can’t wait for another great show!
Too much fun! Such an entertainer!
I love it! Made me laugh so hard! She is precious!!
