    I’m only going if it’s a one-cup service. :-)

Speaking of one-cup services. Years ago, touring Alexander Campbell’s church in Bethany, WV, the tour guide said that the congregation began as one-cuppers. If anyone has a contact for the webmaster of their site…you might want to let them know that they misspelled “Abilene.” ;)

Great idea. I look forward to participating.

I wonder: Is there a list of cities for this? I didn’t see one at the website.

In a year darkened by the sectarian fires of our largest church being “left out” of a Directory of our tribe as well as an “on line Wall of Shame” pointing out Churches of Christ who have added an instrumental service, kudos to the folks who are organizing something that Christ would be proud – unity by folks trying to follow and live for him.

Praying for Abilene’s participation – may it truly be ‘the family of God’ that comes together in blessed Communion with God and each other!!

Lost the edit time, the above should read,
“…may it truly be ‘the whole family of God’ in Abilene that comes together in blessed Communion with God and each other!!
