Mike, I awake every morning to read your blog…thanks, especially, for sharing this wonderful grangirl’s morning! How precious. It brings back lots of tugs from my heart as my last two children watched that show and BIG BIRD was one of their favorites. Wish I had footage of the hours I sat and just watched those two boys sing and sing and sing along with each of the songs. In fact, not too long ago (as grown men) the two were sprawled across a bed talking and they broke into a song they had not heard in years and years! It brought tears to my eyes and heart! So, sit back, enjoy the ride and knowing you have this footage for a life time to sink back in memory! What a special mommy for taking these wonderful pictures and enjoying her daughter! Moments like these……
That’s just shameless grandpa blogging right there…
Yes it is. Does it diffuse it at all to admit it in the blog title?
How precious! My daughter is the same age. Thanks for sharing, Mike!
Good grief! She’s FULL of charm, isn’t she?
Hey, you finally learned how to embed a YouTube clip!
Richard – You’re my mentor, buddy!
I love it! She reminds me a lot of the little girl I live with who is about five months younger. Thanks for sharing!

My first grandchild, a little girl, is due any day now. I can hardly wait. Thanks for sharing your joy.
She’s a dead ringer for her grandad’s performance at Spring Sing circa 1974 or 75.
Soak in every one of these moments, because you are going to turn around and she will be married and living in California! Pass me the kleenexes!
What is it about grandkids? I have 2 now and I can’t describe how great it is. I guess that’s the way this grandpa feels too:
