I downloaded Randy’s lesson…he doesn’t know me and yet he spoke to exactly what I have been struggling with! Podcasts are the bomb!
I visited our local Methodist church last night and watched an amazing swedish movie…”As It is In Heaven” Wonderful discussion afterwords…a little nudity

I love watching ‘Iron Chef’ until I find out that they are serving up something like Sea Urchin “Uni” – yeah look it up & see what they’re really eating! That show equally disgusts me, yet it also enthralls me!

Your last sentence reminds me of an experience I had in a village near Brno, Czech Republic this past March. I ate fried bull, um, “parts” — a.k.a., “mountain oysters” — for the very first time. When people asked me how they tasted, I told them, “You know, you can take pretty much ANYTHING, bread it, deep fry it, dip it in tartar sauce — and how bad can it be?!?”

(For the record, they were much better than fried oysters.)

Heh. By now, I think Mike is aware of my lack of love for his congealed green love. I think, though, that he’s come to terms with the fact that there are just some things on which we’ll never see eye-to-eye. Guacamole and albino pigeons seem to top the list at the moment. (And I think God is on my side here. Avocados aren’t, I think, native to Galilee and the Spirit did not descend in the form of a fajita.)

Gotta make some time to listen to Randy.

Yeah, that’s what my mom always said before she served us liver—”smother it with grilled onions & you’ll just love it.” I love grilled onions, & I love fresh guacamole & salsa with a kick, but there would STILL be liver & dove fajitas left on my plate.

I think I’d rather have elephant or giraffe fajitas. Pigeon and snot? No thanks….
