silence, that is what i hear God calling me more to also, not sure what the instructions are specifically, i will continue to listen. have been reflecting on Ruth Haley Barton's books on this for several months. will see and look forward to hearing how you feel the calling to take form.

I just missed you. I was there Friday through Monday. Hopefully we can connect some time. I met with Boyd Jones and some other Knight and Phi Delta members today from the old Harding Days. We shared lots of good memories. Mike, you were the only person I knew when I went to Harding. Now I look back 30 years later and see what a huge impact it has had on my life. I am deeply indebted to Ken and Ann for taking me to Spring Sing in 1977 and showing me the world.

I pray that your Christmas was blessed and that you are ready for a wonderful New Year in 2008. May God pour his richest blessing upon your family. You are a faithful servant. Your heart is good as gold. Keep the faith my brother!

Mike,

I am glad that you had Christmas in Missouri and touched your roots.
Even though many people have touched your life since leaving Neosho and launching out on your own--No one has had a more profound effect that your loving parents who guided your first steps on the journey of life.

What a sweet family. Reese reminds me of my own brown-eyed babies who are now half grown. She is such a cutie! Diane reminds me of John in all of our family pictures - an outnumbered blond among the crew!

I hope you had a great Christmas!
