Larry Stookey is my friend and colleague here at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. It has been a source of neverending delight to be his colleague. Just last week we celebrated his 36 years of teaching preaching on our faculty with a special worship service. The highlight for me was when his cousin Paul Stookey, as in Peter, Paul, and Mary, sang during communion. Anything Larry writes is worthy of serious reflection.
