Sweet Megan would have been 23 today. And, of course, we still miss her terribly. Happy Birthday, my dear!

Blessings to you Mike and Diane. My memories of Megan are from staying in your home one time when I was at the ACU lectureship. I don’t know of any kids in the world that was loved more than your Megan. You were both wonderful parent to her. She blessed my life for that short stay. I will always be thankful that God let me see into that window of her life…and yours.

Happy Birthday to your sweet, beautiful girl!

I’m sad I never had a chance to know Megan. I feel as though I’ve missed one of God’s angels on earth. Hugs for your hearts; for Diane. you, the boys and the rest of your family that miss her so very much.

Thank you, Mike, for the precious photo. It’s just the way I picture Megan when I think of her and her sweet smile–except that she is lying down instead of outrunning everyoe in our backyard.
;-) Love to you and Diane. Kathy

I hope you’ve had a day of joyful memories of your sweet girl, and pray the Lord will comfort you in the sorrow that is undoubtedly twinned with the joy.

I think that’s the first photo I’ve seen of Megan. It’s nice to have a face to put with the stories.

    Grace and peace.

Today is the first first day of school without Connor. One of many firsts this year for our family. It helps to see those who have walked this road before us with faith. Megan continues to bless, encourage and inspire. Thanks Mike.

Thanks for the picture, Mike, because I’d never seen Megan. What a beautiful child. That’s a really sweet picture of her, too. What a joy she must have been and what a joy she will be again to us all one of these days.

My prayers and thoughts go out to you as you remember her on her birthday and every day.

That is such a sweet picture! I think it must have been taken long before I met her though, as I hardly ever saw Megan lay down on purpose! She was a beautiful little girl who touched so many in her 10 short years. Kolby will turn 10 in February. I have had a big soft spot for 10 year old girls for the past 13 years because of Megan. The older I get the more I realize how much you lost when we lost Megan. I will never forget her… or your family! Blessings on you, Diane, Matt and Chris as you remember Megan!

Christy - So wonderful to hear from you. Please give our love to your parents. They were such good models to us (along with Jim and Marilyn Citty) of how to care for and learn from special children.

happy belated birthday Megan! I do not know the story of Megan, but we lost our first daughter to Turners Syndrome (she was stillborn) and we just celebrated her 4th birthday. I imagine that one day I might be celebrating her 23rd as well. We miss her very much as I am sure you do.
