Mike,
I’m in Detroit; my one and only granddaughter lives in Austin, TX. Do you know of any congregations in Austin that would like to have a guest speaker–say once a month (or more)? I wouldn’t ask for an honorarium or housing; just travel expenses. Oh, and my wife generally accompanies me on these kinds of speaking engagements.

Erin - I enjoyed our visit a lot. What an amazing thing to look into the bright eyes of your little girl and to think what your love has meant to her! (It probably connected with me in deep ways because of my niece and nephew.)

One of the unanticipated benefits is to watch the lights come on in your children’s minds, as they realize fully for the first time just how much you loved and love them. Nothing is better!
