Of course, then the preacher ruined it by talking about how terrible dad's are and how they'd better suck it up and be better husbands and dads or else their children would grow up to hate them and their wives would leave them. Some places honor fathers on father's day almost as much as mothers on mother's day, but for some reason some preachers think that father's day is a day to preach TO fathers instead of honoring them. Can you imagine the outcry if mothers were preached "at" instead of honored. It was a special day when my dad told me “happy father’s day” for the first time.
