Zoe - Orlando

Today I’m heading to Orlando for our Zoe conference. Thanks to Randy Harris for being willing to fill in for me.

First, I wasn’t going to go because I hoped our team would be in the baseball tournament this week, so Randy agreed to go if that happened. Then, I thought I probably could because the team got off to such a poor start, so it looked like Randy would have a weekend off. Then, we beat the undefeated team and it looked like we might get in the tournament, so Randy was back on. But on the last day we lost to the 1-15 team, so . . . I’m heading to Orlando.

Back to Houston tomorrow evening for my granddaughter’s baby blessing at her church!

Your schedule makes me dizzy - have you ever forgotten where you’re supposed to be? :)

May God bless your conference and your sweet granddaughter!

I’m with Amy on your dizzying schedule.

The Metro church was so good to Patrick & Lauren while they were living in Orlando. The believers there are loved by Jimmy & me simply because they nurtured Patrick & Lauren. We wish them the best as they host the Zoe conference—-and the same for you as you encourage them.

A crazy schedule all hinging on baseball. A man after my own heart.

    I’m a little concerned, Mike –

Was this an a cappella baseball tournament?

Certainly enjoyed hearing you speak at ZOE yesterday. As a lurker on your blog for the past two years or so, it was an uplifting experience for me to be able to hear you in person. Much of the material was familiar but hearing/seeing live and in person added an element that had been missing. I feel closer(no pun intended) as a result. Sorry I did not have the opportunity to introduce myself.

Insofar as the scripturality of your conversion, I don’t read anything in my Bible about the Mac!

    Blessings on you and yours,
    Rogers
