your sister's work is such an inspiration to me. "simple obedience"... i love that. what a feeling to know that you are just acting on God's call, just being a vessel for the mission He's given. yet the phrase connotes true humility as well. thank you for sharing this.

Thanks for letting us know how we can follow up on Pam's incridible journey to Ghana. May God's richest blessings be on her in her work!

I spent 6 weeks in Ghana after my freshman year at ACU. The Hayhurst family were the missionaries who were working there at the time. I hope you have wonderful and safe trip. Enjoy the church in Accra and especially in Kumasi. Powerful believers in our God.

Compared to the lifelong commitment that your sis has made to her ministry, the word "diligent" connected to my recent preoccupation rings embarrassingly hollow, Mike.

*Sigh.*

That's some sister-in-law and -in-Him you've got there, Mike! She is such an encouraging and gentle prodder (sic) of conscience. One can't help but be prodded into action by her humble, simply stated beliefs. Y'all are truly blessed by God to have her in your family's inner circle. May the LORD continue to richly bless and expand her ministry.

AND! What a great quote from Larson! Such an encourager for those that have a ministry vision, but feel it just isn't happening or ask why there are so many blocks and barriers.

Again we ask, any news about little Miss R and her ETA?

4:03am? That's even early for you, isn't it?

The neat thing about your sister-in-law is that she's just getting started. I'm sure she doesn't feel that way in terms of the effort she's put in (overnight success is a lie), but I just mean there are some great years ahead of her. Thanks for sharing her story and giving others a chance to observe and/or participate even if we don't watch Oprah (or ever will).
