What a treasure she is and a blessing to me. Thank you for sharing her with me. My baby boy will turn 37 in a month or so and his brother and sister are even older, but I still miss them as much as if it were yesterday that we were all together. I treasure, still, every minute of time I spend with each of them and they have made me very proud. Also, Mark - the youngest - is having a baby girl in March, so I can really identify with you as an expectant granddad. In our case, this is number 10 for me, but it never loses its magic! I have a boy that will be 13 this year and a girl that will be 10. The little years go by so quickly; it's hard to appreciate them when they happen. Go hunting "with" your kids and you wont have to go hunting "for" your kids. Get involved in whatever they like to do. Be it sports or chess or whatever. I will add to Michael and take it a step further. If you can't coach you can still attend practice as well as the games and realy support you child. It has been nothing but a blessing to have coached my son for four years and my daughter for four years. I will be forever grateful. The thing in which I am most thankful is that my children have enjoyed having me as their coach. To young parents, if you can't coach your son or daughter, make it a point to attend their games. Then, be their biggest supporter and source of encouragement. Yes, it does pass quickly. However, each stage with your children is one to enjoy and provides many reasons to celebrate.
