We as a family cannot come close to expressing how thankful we are for the love poured out on us. Mike, your message was perfect in its comfort to us and its tribute to Tyler, accurately portraying his life. Thank you all for your shoulders. When Papa suggested to us that you do the funeral, everyone in our family was in absolute agreement, and we were all so thankful to find that you were able to be here in this busy time. One week ago, Tyler made a CD. Tonight, we sat down to watch the slideshow that friends prepared for Tyler's funeral. We thought the slideshow was a DVD with music, but it was a powerpoint. Landon started Tyler's CD, we used his CD as the soundtrack. This is Tyler's favorite song. When we listened heard this song tonight, we heard his voice through the words. These are his words to us. For years when I did funerals it seemed like each time I was still burying my father because I spoke from my personal grief. The Lord will speak through your heart to bless this family. Don't be afraid. "So we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. . . . There is no fear in love" (1 John 4:16, 18). Wow! That sounds like a tough one. I’ll be praying for you. I know you will do well.
