A #11 pick is in the final four. I don’t see George Mason in any of the picks from my earlier post!
I nearly struck out with my picks, getting only UCLA right. Missed on Duke, UConn, and Ohio State (live by the 3-point shot and die by the 3-point shot). I glanced back quickly and it looks like three people got two picks right with UCLA/Florida combination.
Since I had the same picks as you well. Hopefully UCLA can hold LSU under 54 points and win but they have to shoot better then 32 percent.
I grew up near George Mason and Tim started his graduate work there. This has been an amazing ride for them…will be good for the school. When I was in high school they were very small and no one wanted to say that they were going to George Mason…too small and too close. That has changed so much over the last 20 years. I will cheer them on as they continue this incredible run of victories.
I did. OK, my pool goes round by round, so it was not as a big a deal as the ones where you pick them all at once.
No, but I looked it up and man, its alot less expensive than ACU.
I’m sure everyone is noticing that 2 of the 4 are Southeastern Conference!!!
When are we going to start talking about baseball!?!
Not a single number one seed is in the final four. That doesn’t happen very often. I’m glad I’m not in the business of reading palms or tarat cards. I can’t even predict a final four bracket much less anticipate what might happen in people’s lives.
no but i am happy to see northern virginia represent!
If I understood Mike & Mike on ESPNRadio correctly, less than 10 of the 5 million brackets filled out on ESPN had George Mason in the Final 4. I got Florida and UCLA, felt really solid about UConn, but had a hunch LSU or Texas might derail Duke. I went safe with Duke.
Go SEC. I still have two of my picks LSU and Florida.
If you are rooting for the George Mason Patriots, here’s your fight song:

George Mason, named after the revolutionary era statesman, is an interesting univeristy only existing since 1972 but has over 25,000 students.

Peace.
I didn’t pick George Mason, but I have LSU and UCLA in the final 4 with UCLA winning it. e
I did pick UCLA and Florida in my Final 4, so I’m pretty happy about that. If UCLA loses either of their next two (possible) games, than I will win our office pool. If UCLA wins the championship than I will come in second. So I’m pretty happy with my picks.
