It really doesn’t seem possible to name only three favorites. It would be like having each of my children born anew to me and being asked to give my favorite birthing experience between them. They are all so unique, they each one touch the heart in a special way, but they all have one purpose that cannot even allow a choice to made as in one above the others….each one was created to glorify God and exalt His Holy Name.
That’s what I believe is the element in not being able to choose only three worship songs. But I will say that those who chose to stick to the number given couldn’t go wrong, nor can any fault be found in those who went beyond the requested number.
Just as John said “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.AMEN!
There has never been more love songs written for, to, because of, inspired by, than the worship love songs written from those whose hearts that have been filled and changed by the Greatest Lover ever known. The Lover of our souls.
I find it interesting that so many of the praise, worship and hymnal songs have been born out of great termoil, persecution, loss, grief, brokeness, etc., all allowed by the One to Whom they wrote their love song to. I call that a miracle. When someone hurts us or opens a wound we don’t like it. When God does it, it brings healing and wholeness and beauty.
Wow, who would have thought I would have written all of this just to mention these….

The power of praise, it’s something the angels do without ceasing and they wonder at the miracle of what His Spirit does in the heart of man, that would cause him/her to spend the rest of their days, singing praise and sharing the love that set them free, with others.
God knows the names and heart of every person, may we seek His guidance and wisdom to be to all what He created us to be, “glory and praise to His Holy Name.”
